Job summary

Infinite Aged Care is recruiting Personal Carer Workers to provide compassionate, resident-centered care at our Mt Lofty Toowoomba home. You will support elderly residents, coordinate with nursing and hospitality teams, and ensure safety in a busy, shift-driven environment.

The role requires empathy, effective communication, and a willingness to adapt to AM, PM and Night shifts. Prior aged care experience and a valid NDIS screening are preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in the aged care sector preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and care plans.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance is essential.

Ideally, you have worked in the Aged Care sector already and the ability to “think on your feet” for strong workplace safety, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike. In addition, you will also

• Ideally one year demonstrated working experience in the Aged Care sector
• Qualifications in Diploma of Nursing with an aged care industry placement OR 2nd year nursing student with an industry placement OR Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care)
• we do recognise other Cert III courses in related healthcare studies. Industry work placement will also be needed to meet compliance standards.
• Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance as this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector.

• Very positive teamwork attitude, a trusted co-worker, excellent time management (we are a shift driven workplace including handovers) and follow strict safety procedures at all times to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
• Computer savvy including using emails, word and navigating inhouse training platforms.
• Excellent workplace safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears.
