Job summary

Infinite Aged Care is seeking Personal Carer Workers to support elderly residents across AM, PM and Night shifts. You will work with nursing, hospitality and engagement teams to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care in a safety-first environment.

The role requires empathy, strong communication, and teamwork, with initial training and pathways to upskill. Aged care placement experience and NDIS screening are valued.

Qualifications

• Ideally holds Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or Diploma of Nursing with aged care placement.
• Willing to obtain NDIS Workers Screening Clearance.
• Experience in aged care and ability to think on your feet for safety and rapport with residents.

Responsibilities

Our Personal Carer Worker (PCWs) are highly interactive supporting our elderly residents, their families, and colleagues 7 days a week across AM, PM and Nightshifts. This role based at xx will see you working closely with the nursing, hospitality and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers. In addition, you will also
• Ideally one year demonstrated working experience in the Aged Care sector

• Very positive teamwork attitude, a trusted co-worker, excellent time management (we are a shift driven workplace including handovers) and follow strict safety procedures at all times to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
• Computer savvy including using emails, word and navigating inhouse training platforms.
• Excellent workplace safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling or hurting themselves – you need to be their extra eyes and ears.
• Qualifications in Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) OR
  • have completed the Diploma of Nursing with an aged care placement OR
  • now a 2nd year nursing student with a placement.
  • we do recognise other Cert III courses in related healthcare studies. Industry work placement will also be needed to meet compliance standards.
• Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance as this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector. (*or willingness to obtain)
