Job summary

Talent Quarter is seeking experienced Personal Care Workers to provide high-quality personal care across the Sunshine Coast. Flexible shifts and competitive hourly rates support older Australians in their daily routines and wellbeing.

You will join a supportive team with casual, shift and block booking opportunities. Applicants must have a relevant qualification and be eligible to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality personal care and support to residents.
• Assisting with showering, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Supporting residents with mobility and transfers.
• Assisting with meals and hydration.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Supporting residents to maintain their independence and dignity.
• Observing and reporting changes in residents' health or wellbeing.
• Completing required documentation and reporting.
• Working collaboratively with Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and other members of the care team.
• Following individual care plans, workplace health and safety requirements and infection control procedures.

Talent Quarter is currently seeking experienced Personal Care Workers for shifts across the Sunshine Coast with shifts ranging from Caloundra up to Noosa.

Your Responsibilities

As a Personal Care Worker, your duties may include:

• Providing high-quality personal care and support to residents.
• Assisting with showering, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Supporting residents with mobility and transfers.
• Assisting with meals and hydration.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Supporting residents to maintain their independence and dignity.
• Observing and reporting changes in residents' health or wellbeing.

What You Will Need

• A relevant qualification, such as a Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent.
• Current 2026 Influenza Vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination, where required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, or willingness to obtain one.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification, where required.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience working in aged care or a similar care environment.
• A compassionate, reliable and respectful approach to supporting older people.
