Job summary

Elderly Care is seeking experienced Personal Care Workers to join our team in Kawana Waters, Queensland. This part-time role focuses on delivering high-quality care to our elderly residents, addressing physical, emotional and social needs with compassion and professionalism.

You will work PM and Night Shifts, providing person-centred care, and supporting residents to maintain independence in daily activities while following safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification.
• Experience delivering person-centred elderly care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work PM and Night Shifts.
• Satisfactory Police Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility.
• Monitor and record residents' health, dietary and personal care needs.
• Engage residents in social, recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance their wellbeing.
• Maintain a safe, clean and comfortable living environment for residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents, their families and the broader care team.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures and quality standards.

About you

• A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification
• Demonstrated experience in providing person-centred care to elderly residents
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships

• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality
• PM and Night Shift cover
• A satisfactory Police Clearance Certificate is required as per the Aged Care Act 1997
