Job summary

Churches Of Christ In Queensland - Nerang is seeking a Personal Care Worker to support residents and collaborate with a care team at Homestead Aged Care.

You will provide personal care and emotional support, assist with daily living such as mobility, meals, and outings, review care plans, observe changes, and maintain residents' dignity. You will also support Registered Nurses on duty, with shifts that may include days or nights.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 or 4 in Individual Support/Aged Care.
• Experience as a Personal Care Worker in Residential Aged Care.

Do you live in Nerang, Highland Park, Carrara, Molendinar, Ashmore, Gilston or Gold coast surrounds? We are seeking an experienced team member to make a difference in supporting our local residents at Homestead Aged Care based in Nerang. Ability to work independently with a small team of carers and flexibility to cover additional day or night shifts is highly regarded,

• * Passionate about Aged Care and providing safe supportive care to the residents.
• * Currently holds a Certificate 3 or Certificate 4 in Individual Support/ Aged Care.
• * Experienced as a Personal Care Worker in Residential Aged Care.
• * Flexible and able to do shifts including AM, PM, Night & Public holidays
• * Hold valid Australian Work Rights - Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor
