Job summary

BaptistCare Heritage Manor in Morwell, VIC, is seeking casual Personal Care Workers to deliver hands-on support to residents across morning, afternoon and night shifts. You’ll work under a Residential Care Manager following individual care plans and focus on the person in front of you.

Requirements include Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care), 12 months’ experience, and flexibility across shifts. Applicants must be willing to obtain a Police Check and working rights in Australia.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months’ experience in a residential aged care facility.
• Willingness to complete a medical assessment and provide working rights evidence.
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care in line with each resident’s care plan.
• Listen to residents and understand what matters most to them.
• Accurately record consumer outcomes in BaptistCare systems.
• Build respectful relationships with residents, families and stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across the home.
• Report workplace and consumer risks to management promptly.
• Attend scheduled training to maintain skills and compliance.

THE ROLE

Working under the direction of a Residential Care and Services Manager, you’ll deliver hands‑on personal care that’s guided by each resident’s individual care plan.

Every day looks a little different, but the focus is always the same: the person in front of you.

ABOUT YOU

You’re reliable, compassionate, and bring genuine energy to every shift.

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
• Minimum 12 months’ experience working in a residential aged care facility
• Genuine passion for caring for older people and supporting their wellbeing
• Honest, reliable, and attentive to detail
• Strong team player with the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Flexible and positive — comfortable working across a variety of shifts
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Proof of working rights in Australia
• Willingness to complete a medical assessment to confirm physical capability for the role
