Job summary

BaptistCare Peninsula View in Frankston, VIC is seeking casual Personal Care Workers for morning, afternoon, and night shifts across weekdays and weekends.

You will deliver personal care guided by resident care plans, build relationships with residents and families, and participate in training.

Requirements include Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care), 12 months in residential aged care, and eligibility to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months' experience working in a residential aged care facility.
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Proof of working rights in Australia.
• Willingness to complete a medical assessment to confirm physical capability for the role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care in line with each resident's care plan, supporting their goals and daily needs.
• Listen to residents and take the time to understand what matters most to them.
• Accurately record consumer outcomes in BaptistCare systems.
• Build respectful relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across the home.
• Report workplace and consumer risks to management promptly and appropriately.
• Attend scheduled training to maintain your skills and compliance.

THE ROLE

Working under the direction of a Residential Care and Services Manager, you'll deliver hands-on personal care that's guided by each resident's individual care plan.

Every day looks a little different, but the focus is always the same: the person in front of you.
