Job summary

Bolton Clarke in Bundaberg, QLD, is seeking a Personal Care Worker to assist residents with daily living activities, providing high-quality care in a supportive environment.

You will help residents maintain independence and dignity, assist with mobility and self-care, and complete essential documentation as part of a caring team with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support & Ageing (or equivalent).
• Experience in Aged Care highly regarded.
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc).
• Prior to commencement – complete a National Police Check and/or a NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain).

• Provide high quality, safe, and timely personal care; assist with daily living tasks according to residents’ needs.
• Support and care for residents as they age, helping maintain independence with dignity and comfort.
• Assist with self-care needs, safe mobility and transfers, and complete documentation.

The Role

As aPersonal Care Workeryou’ll provide assistance to our residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices.

The key focus of the role will be to:

• To provide high quality, safe, and timely contemporary personal care; assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of residents.
• Support and care for residents as they age and assisting them to maintain their independence and live with dignity, self-determination and comfort.
• Assist the resident with self-care needs, safe mobility and transfers, and complete documentation.
• Join a caring community with opportunities to progress your career in nursing or leadership.
• Ensuring an effective and consumer focused care and service delivery for all residents.

To be successful, you will have

• Certificate III in Individual Support & Ageing (or equivalent)
