Uniting Communities is seeking a warm Personal Care Worker in Adelaide, SA, to support residents with daily living while upholding dignity and independence.

You will assist with personal care, meals, hygiene, and recording care notes in a patient-centered facility. A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support is required, along with a compassionate, team-focused attitude.

Qualificações

• Friendly, warm and motivated to help others.
• Ability to document care notes clearly in a computer system.
• Knowledge of Residential Aged Care standards and guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Providing personal care to residents (bathing, grooming and hygiene).
• Assistance with meals and hydration.
• Promoting wellbeing to support independence and quality of life.
• Following care plans and recording care notes.
• Using mechanical aids safely and effectively.

What's on Offer?

• Permanent Part Time opportunities
• Base Hourly Rate $35 per hour + Shift Allowances + Salary Sacrifice
• Not For Profit Packaging of up to $15,900 per year pre-tax and additionally a $2,650 Meals and Entertainment card.
• Stable Roster & Extra Hours
• Please note that shift changes will not be entertained for the first 6 months after joining.

Your New Role

• Providing personal care to residents such as bathing, showering, personal hygiene and grooming
• Assistance with meals and drinks
• Applying practices and promote wellness to help older people improve their independence and quality of life
• Following care plans, observing and recording individual care notes
• Provide accurate use of mechanical aids

About you:

• A friendly demeanour and motivated in helping others
• Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
• Ability to write care notes and entering them into a computer.
• Demonstrated understanding of the standards and guidelines of Residential Aged Care
