Job summary

DNA Recruitment is currently seeking dedicated Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to support our network of aged care facilities across Stanthorpe, QLD. Join a flexible roster and make a meaningful difference in residents' daily lives.

As a PCA, you will provide personal care, companionship, and daily living support while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Minimum qualification includes Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent, with CPR/Manual Handling and police checks up to date.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience.
• Current Manual Handling and CPR certificates.
• Current National Police Check.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Genuine passion for providing high-quality care and improving the lives of older Australians.
• Empathetic and patient with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Adaptable and reliable in dynamic care environments.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

About the Role

As a Personal Care Assistant, you'll provide personal care, companionship, and daily living support to residents in aged care settings. We offer a variety of shifts across different facilities, giving you the flexibility to build your own roster while making a genuine difference.

• Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent
• At least 1 year of recent full-time equivalent experience
• Reliable, registered and insured vehicle with a current driver's licence (advantageous)
• Current Manual Handling and CPR certificates
• Current National Police Check
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Genuine passion for providing high-quality care and improving the lives of older Australians
• Empathetic and patient with excellent communication skills
