Job summary

Central Highlands Rural Health Service in Daylesford is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to provide high-quality, person-centered care to residents. This casual/temporary role supports our aging community with dignity and respect.

You will assist with grooming, mobility, meals, toileting, social activities, and documentation, while building meaningful connections with residents and their families. Availability across 7 days, mornings and evenings, is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in individual support or aged care or equivalent.
• Experience in an Aged Care environment is required.
• Experience providing services and activities centred on resident needs.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Experience with electronic documentation is preferred.
• Understanding of aged care rights and responsibilities.
• Available to work across 7 days, mornings and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered care and build meaningful connections with residents and families.

The Role

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in the daily lives of our residents. You will provide person-centered care and build meaningful connections with residents and their families.

What we need from you

• Certificate III/IV in individual support/Certificate III/IV Aged Care or similar Qualification


• Experience in an Aged Care environment


• Experience providing services and activities centred around our resident needs including grooming, showering, mobility, meals, toileting and assisting with social activities


• High level of customer service skills


• Experience in electronic documentation


• Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and resposibilities


• Available to work accross 7 days both evening and morning shifts

Salary:Dependent on experience, as per award + superannuation (25% Casual Loading for casual appointments)
