South Bunbury Community Aged Care in Bunbury, WA invites expressions of interest for Personal Care Assistants to help open our brand-new 180-bed aged care home in November 2026. Join a values-driven team building a resident-centered community from the ground up.

We offer a competitive rate of $36.56 per hour plus super, penalty rates and salary packaging. Sponsorship is not offered. Bring compassion, strong communication, and a collaborative spirit to support older Australians with dignity.

Qualifications

• Cert III or IV in Aged Care / Individual Support (Ageing) is essential.
• Recent National Police Check within 12 months is essential.
• Genuine empathy and patient-centred care.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Team player who thrives on collaboration.
• Passion for continuous learning and improvement.
• Whole-person awareness (physical, social, emotional).
• Excellent time management and tech skills.
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily personal care and support to residents.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Communicating professionally with residents, families and staff.
• Supporting each resident’s unique needs with respect and dignity.
• Maintaining privacy and handling feedback sensitively.
• Working flexible shifts across mornings, afternoons, and nights.
• Being available for weekend and weekday shifts (permanent part-time).

We're looking for compassionate, resident-focused PCAs who are passionate about delivering quality care and enhancing the lives of older Australians.

Competitive rate: $36.56 per hour + super, plus applicable penalty rates and salary packaging benefits to help maximise your take-home pay.

About the Role

As a PCA, you’ll deliver daily personal care and meaningful support that truly reflects each resident’s individuality. This aligns with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards, which place older people at the centre of their care experience - ensuring their identity, preferences, culture, and goals guide the care they receive.

You’ll play a key role in bringing this person‑centred approach to life.
