Job summary

A compassionate Personal Care Assistant position at Daylesford Aged Care is available through Your Australian Workforce. You will provide person-centered care, support daily living activities, and engage residents in social activities.

The role requires Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent, experience in aged care, strong customer service, and ability to work across 7 days with both shifts. Casual appointment in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in individual support or Certificate III/IV Aged Care or similar qualification.
• Experience in an aged care environment.
• Experience providing services and activities centred around residents’ needs including grooming, showering, mobility, meals, toileting and social activities.
• High level of customer service skills.
• Experience in electronic documentation.
• Understanding of aged care and resident rights and responsibilities.
• Available to work across 7 days, both evenings and mornings.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered care and build meaningful connections with residents and their families.
• Attend to grooming, mobility, meals and daily living activities to support residents’ well-being.
• Assist with social activities and documentation to ensure high-quality care.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking compassionate, dedicated, and empathetic Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide high-quality, person-centered care to our residents. In this role, you will work within a supportive environment, making a meaningful difference in the daily lives of our residents.

The Role

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in the daily lives of our residents. You will provide person-centered care and build meaningful connections with residents and their families.

What we need from you

• Certificate III/IV in individual support/Certificate III/IV Aged Care or similar Qualification
• Experience in an Aged Care environment
• Experience providing services and activities centred around our resident needs including grooming, showering, mobility, meals, toileting and assisting with social activities
• High level of customer service skills
• Experience in electronic documentation
• Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and resposibilities
• Available to work accross 7 days both evening and morning shifts

Details of Appointment:Casual

Salary:Dependent on experience, as per award + superannuation (25% Casual Loading for casual appointments)
