Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited is seeking Personal Care Assistants for casual shifts at Bethlehem House in Kogarah, NSW. You will assist residents with personal care, support daily activities, and work with the clinical team to follow care plans in a safe, home-like environment.

We value compassion, strong communication, and teamwork. A Certificate III in Aged Care is required, with police and NDIS clearances encouraged.

Qualifications

• A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly.
• Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable team player.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent).
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care such as showering and dressing.
• Supporting day-to-day tasks such as eating and social activities.
• Working with clinical team members to ensure care plans are followed.
• Maintaining documentation and working as part of a team to ensure our residents’ health and wellbeing are optimised.

We are looking for Personal Care Assistants to join our team at Bethlehem House. We offer a variety of shifts including morning, afternoon, and night shifts across the week. As part of a dedicated team who work hard to create a safe, home-like environment you’ll be responsible for:

• Assisting with personal care such as showering and dressing

• Working with clinical team members to ensure care plans are followed
• Maintaining documentation and working as part of a team to ensure our residents’ health and wellbeing are optimised
