Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited is seeking Personal Care Assistants to join our team at McQuoin Park in Wahroonga, NSW. We offer morning, afternoon, and night shifts across the week.

You will be part of a dedicated team, providing high‑quality care to residents in a home-like environment. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, supporting daily activities, and following care plans with the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent required.
• Willingness to apply for Police Check and NDIS clearance.
• Preference for those with medication‑competency training as part of studies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (showering, dressing) and day-to-day tasks (eating, social activities).
• Support residents in line with care plans and document appropriately.
• Work with clinical team to ensure health and wellbeing of residents.

We are looking for Personal Care Assistants to join our team at McQuoin Park. We offer a variety of shifts including morning, afternoon, and night shifts across the week. As part of a dedicated team who work hard to create a safe, home‑like environment you'll be responsible for:

• Assisting with personal care such as showering and dressing
• Supporting day-to-day tasks such as eating and social activities
• Working with clinical team members to ensure care plans are followed
• Maintaining documentation and working as part of a team to ensure our residents' health and wellbeing are optimised
• Providing high quality service to families and the community

To be successful in this role you'll need

• A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
• Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
• Good communication skills
• A reliable team player
• Understanding of workplace health and safety
• A Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent)
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
• Preference will be given to PCAs who have completed medication‑competency training as part of their Certificate III or Certificate IV studies
