Respect Wattleglen in Sale, VIC is seeking a Casual Personal Care Assistant to support residents with compassionate, person‑centred care.

You will work with nurses and the care team to maintain residents’ dignity and wellbeing, building relationships and helping with daily living activities. This role offers flexibility and the chance to contribute to a respected not‑for‑profit aged care provider.

Competenze

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Previous aged care experience is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Mansioni

• Provide personal care including assistance with showering, dressing and grooming.
• Support residents with mobility and safe manual handling.
• Assist with meals, hydration and daily living activities.

About the Role

As a Casual Personal Care Assistant at Wattleglen, you will play an important role in supporting our residents to live a life well‑lived through compassionate, person‑centred care.

Working closely with our nurses and wider care team, you'll provide practical and emotional support while helping residents maintain their dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities Will Include:

• Providing personal care including assistance with showering, dressing, and grooming
• Supporting residents with mobility and safe manual handling
• Assisting with meals, hydration, and daily living activities
• Building meaningful relationships with residents and their families

About You

We’re looking for a Personal Care Assistant who is compassionate, reliable, and passionate about supporting older people to live their best lives.

To Be Considered, You Will Have:

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
• Previous experience in aged care or a similar role is desirable
• A genuine passion for providing quality care to older people
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, team‑focused attitude
• The ability to work across a variety of shifts
• An understanding of person‑centred care
• Current National Police Certificate or the ability to obtain one
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or the ability to obtain one
