Job summary

Palm Lake Care Mount Warren Park is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team on a casual basis. You can work from just a few shifts a week up to 5 shifts a week and have work-life balance.

Under a Registered Nurse, you will provide daily living support, ensure comfort and wellbeing, and work with the clinical and lifestyle teams to enhance resident experiences.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Empathy with elderly residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, hygiene and mobility.
• Support residents' emotional, social, and daily living needs.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and collaborate with nursing staff.

What We're Looking For

To thrive in this role, you will need:

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)


• A current National Police Check


• A caring and respectful approach towards residents


• Strong communication and teamwork skills


• A positive and enthusiastic attitude


• Empathy with elderly residents and their families


• Knowledge of Autumn Care would be highly regarded although not essential


• Experience working in an Australian Aged Care Facility highly regarded
