Job summary

Palm Lake Care Toowoomba is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team on a Casual or Part Time basis, with shifts available Monday to Sunday, 24 hours and night/weekend penalties.

You will provide daily living support to residents under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, assisting with personal care, mobility, dignity and wellbeing while collaborating with clinical and lifestyle teams to enhance resident experiences. Training provided and a supportive family-like culture.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent.
• Current National Police Check.
• Caring and respectful approach towards residents.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Empathy with elderly residents and families.
• Knowledge of Autumn Care is a plus, not essential.
• Experience in Australian aged care facility is highly regarded.

Position Details

Palm Lake Care Toowoomba is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to join our team on a Casual or Part Time basis, working a range of shifts available between Monday to Sunday 24 hours. Night and weekend shifts available with penalty rates. As a Personal Care Assistant, you’ll provide daily living support to residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will

• Assist residents with personal care, hygiene, and mobility
• Support residents’ emotional and social needs
• Maintain accurate care documentation
• Collaborate with the clinical and lifestyle teams to enhance resident experiences

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you will need

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)
• A current National Police Check
• A caring and respectful approach towards residents
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Empathy with elderly residents and their families
• Knowledge of Autumn Care would be highly regarded although not essential
• Experience working in an Australian Aged Care Facility highly regarded
