Job summary

Queensland Country Bank in the Mackay region is seeking an energetic Personal Banking Consultant for the Mount Pleasant branch to deliver exceptional Member service, identify individual needs, solve problems and proactively promote our products and services.

This full-time role is based on a 38-hour week with additional hours as required, and the successful applicant will be willing to work at any branch within the Mackay region.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated sales experience.
• Cash handling experience.
• Exceptional communication & customer service skills.
• A demonstrated ability to positively adapt to change.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly build rapport with people and work as a supportive team member.
• Experience in the Finance Industry (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional level of personalised service to Members.

• Guide Members to successful outcomes and promote cross-sell opportunities.
• Be willing to work at any Mackay region branch as required.

About The Role

We are seeking an energetic and genuine team player to join our friendly staff in the Mount Pleasant branch. This is great opportunity for someone who is looking for an opportunity to start a career in the finance industry or who is looking for a good work/life balance. As a Personal Banking Consultant your main objective will be to provide an exceptional level of personalised service to Members and guide them to a successful outcome by identifying individual needs, problem solving and proactively promoting our products and services. This is a full time position based on a 38 hour work week, with the right applicant available to work additional hours as required. The successful applicant will also be willing to work at any branch within the Mackay region as required.
