Job summary

A leading Australian law firm is looking for an experienced Personal Assistant to join their Adelaide office. The ideal candidate will assist Partners in managing a busy practice, prepare legal documents, manage diaries, and perform various administrative tasks. This role offers an opportunity for career progression in a supportive and dynamic workplace, promoting work-life balance and a friendly culture. Candidates should have strong organizational skills and experience using legal management software.

Qualifications

  • Experience in assisting in managing a high volume practice.
  • Experience supporting a Partner or executive.
  • Experience using file management systems like Aderant.

The opportunity

We have an opportunity for an experienced Personal Assistant to join our Adelaide office. This is a unique opportunity to take your career to the next level and be a part of a growing practice. You'll be busy with:

  • assisting Partners and other allocated legal staff;
  • matter management;
  • preparation of correspondence and court documents;
  • monthly billing using our file management system, Aderant; and
  • diary management, liaising with clients and other general administration.
To succeed in this role, ideally you'll have
  • experience in assisting in managing a high volume practice;
  • experience supporting a Partner or executive;
  • excellent grammar, spelling and attention to detail;
  • strong time management and organisation skills; and
  • experience using Aderant and iManage (or similar) is highly desirable but not essential.
