Job summary

Right at Home Gold Coast is seeking a Persian-speaking Personal Care Worker to support clients in the Coomera region on a casual basis. You will assist with personal care, meal preparation, mobility and companionship, delivering culturally sensitive, in-home care to Persian-speaking clients and families.

You'll bring Persian language skills, English proficiency, a Certificate III in relevant care, First Aid/CPR, a valid Driver's licence, and a commitment to flexible, patient, and respectful care

Qualifications

• Certificate III in relevant care fields (or currently studying Nursing/Health-related qualification)
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Current Australian Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle
• National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness)
• Full working rights in Australia

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Support meal preparation, feeding, and activities of daily living
• Provide companionship, social engagement, and emotional support
• Perform light domestic duties and household organisation
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate service records
• Communicate effectively with clients, families and the care team
• Deliver culturally respectful, person-centred care to Persian-speaking clients
