Job summary

Right at Home Gold Coast is seeking caring individuals to join our casual support team, providing in-home care to seniors and adults with disabilities. You’ll perform personal care, domestic tasks, and companionship in clients’ homes with empathy and professionalism.

We offer flexible casual hours, minimum 2-hour shifts, travel time and kilometre reimbursement, and ongoing training with guidance from experienced nurses and care managers to support your development and wellbeing.

Qualifications

Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care required.
Current First Aid & CPR are preferred.
Driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle are recommended.
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain) required.
Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

Personal support — assist with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
High-level personal care — mobility assistance, safe transfers, and falls-risk awareness.
Community access — support clients to attend appointments, social activities, and programs.
Domestic assistance — cleaning, laundry, meal prep, and home maintenance.
Companionship — provide emotional support, conversation, and social connection.
Mental-health informed support — recognise cues and respond with calm interaction.
Care documentation — follow plans and accurately record services.
Team collaboration — work with coordinators and nurses to ensure safe, quality care.
