Job summary

Blacktown City Council seeks a Plant/Tractor Driver to maintain parks, reserves and sports fields. You will operate tractors, mowers and related equipment, perform pre-start checks and deliver scheduled greenspace maintenance across city spaces.

This is a permanent, full-time on-site role offering an entry-level salary starting at 1,310.20 per week, a fortnightly RDO, 12% superannuation, generous leave and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience operating tractors and mowers.
• Knowledge of greenspace maintenance and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Mow, slash and manage vegetation across parks, reserves and roadsides.
• Prepare and maintain sports fields, including markings and goal posts.
