Job summary

Blacktown City Council is seeking a Plant/Tractor Driver to maintain parks, reserves, sports fields and roadsides. You will operate tractors, mowers and other plant to keep greenspaces safe, accessible and well presented.

The role offers a secure, permanent full-time position with an entry level salary of AUD 1,310.20 per week, a rostered day off every fortnight, 12% superannuation, leave entitlements and opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Experience in tractor operations and large-scale turf maintenance.
• Reliable and safety-focused operator.
• Ability to work as part of a team and deliver high standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors, mowers and other plant equipment to maintain greenspaces.
• Prepare and maintain sports fields, install/remove goal posts, mark fields and cricket wickets.
• Perform pre-start checks and maintain plant and equipment.
• Deliver scheduled maintenance safely.
