Permanent part-time/ full-time position for an experienced Support Worker

Your Journey Your Choice Support Services is looking for experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team across South East Queensland and Northern NSW.

We are looking for both male and female Support Workers who are genuinely looking for part-time or full-time employment and are prepared to make a long-term commitment to our organisation.

We are NOT looking for casual workers.

We want people who are reliable, committed and interested in becoming a consistent and valued member of the YJYC team.

Experience REQUIRED

You must have previous experience working with people with complex support needs, including experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID)
• Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)
• Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)

You must have relevant hands-on experience with complex participants. If you do not have experience working with people with the conditions or support needs listed above, please do not apply, as your application will not progress.

You must also be willing to complete necessary participant specific training and courses.

• Are comfortable receiving feedback and continuously developing their skills
• Want to build a long-term career with YJYC, rather than simply pick up shifts when convenient
