Job summary

Workhorse Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a leading FMCG manufacturer on a permanent night shift. This role offers a salary of AUD 125,000 plus super and a long-term career with training and development.

You will perform preventative and breakdown maintenance across production equipment, fault-find pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and contribute to safety and continuous improvement within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification.
• Experience in FMCG environments is essential.
• Experience in food manufacturing, packaging or pharmaceutical settings.
• Strong fault finding and breakdown maintenance experience.
• Exposure to high-speed production and packaging machinery.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production and packaging equipment.
• Fault find and repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Minimise downtime and maximise plant performance.
• Assist with continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
• Complete maintenance documentation and reporting.
• Maintain high safety, housekeeping and quality standards.
