Job summary

Workhorse Staffing is seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a leading FMCG manufacturer on a permanent night shift. The role offers a salary of $125,000 per year plus Super and long-term stability in a safety-focused team.

You will be trained on day shift before transitioning to nights to ensure a smooth start and ongoing development. You will perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production and packaging equipment, fault find mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems,

Qualifications

Australian recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification.
FMCG experience essential.
Experience in food manufacturing, packaging or pharmaceutical environments.
Strong fault finding and breakdown maintenance experience.
Exposure to high speed production and packaging machinery.
Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Full Australian working rights are essential.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance across production and packaging equipment.
Fault find and repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Minimise downtime and maximise plant performance.
Assist with continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
Complete maintenance documentation and reporting requirements.
Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and quality.
