Staffpower represents a major regional manufacturing operation on the border, seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters for a full-time night shift role at $65.18 per hour with 15% superannuation. Overtime is regularly available, and ongoing training and career development are provided.

You will troubleshoot faults, repair plant and equipment, perform preventative maintenance and support continuous improvement while upholding safety, quality and environmental standards.

Due to ongoing growth and increased production demands, we are seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters to join a high-performing maintenance team based on the border.

Role Details

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

• Troubleshooting, fault-finding and machine inspections
• Attending to repairs and breakdowns across plant and equipment
• Carrying out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and environmental compliance

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Mechanical Trade Qualification (Cert III Engineering – Mechanical)
• Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Ability to confidently read and mark up engineering drawings
• Excellent communication skills
• A genuine commitment to workplace safety
