Thiess is seeking a Trade Assistant to support maintenance and repair activities on off highway machinery at our Australian site. You will contribute to safety, quality, and efficiency while handling materials and assisting with fault identification and reporting to the workshop.

The role requires current forklift, crane, dogging, and rigging tickets, plus a valid Australian driver’s license. You will work both independently and as part of a team on a full-time basis, with comprehensive camp

Qualifications

• Experience as a Trade Assistant in a mining or workshop environment.
• Commitment to safety and quality assurance on site.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team to complete tasks.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preventative maintenance and repairs on off highway machinery.
• Handle materials, loading/unloading, and moving supplies to and from work areas.
• Operate basic power tools and machinery as needed.
• Help identify equipment faults during servicing and report to workshop/management.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas in accordance with site guidelines.
