Job summary

Thiess is recruiting for a workshop-based service position in Western Australia to service and repair rubber tyred off highway machinery. The role involves preventative maintenance, diagnostic work, and reporting faults, with a strong emphasis on safety.

The successful candidate will operate in a team while also working independently, with a current HR licence required and a commitment to safe practices at all times. Permanent full-time with camp facilities offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Service Person in a mining or workshop environment.
• Experience in operation on highway service truck.
• Current HR drivers licence required.
• Strong commitment to health and safety at all times.

Responsibilities

• Workshop based role, servicing, and repairing rubber tyred off highway machinery.
• Assist in preventative maintenance and repairs, including diagnosis and troubleshooting, on off highway machinery.
• Dedicated commitment to safety and quality assurance.
• Identify equipment faults during servicing and rectify/report to workshop/ management.
• Able to work independently, and collaboratively within a team to accomplish assigned tasks.
