Bradken Ltd. is seeking a skilled Fitter & Turner to join our Queensland workshop. This permanent full-time role focuses on machine setup, first-off verification, workshop planning and mentoring apprentices.

You will work with safety and quality in mind, lead by example, and support production teams to improve productivity. Day shift with potential for afternoon shift; regional tropical North Queensland lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner or similar mechanical trade.
• Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is required.
• CNC machine setting and programming experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Set up and program CNC machinery.
• Verify first-off production components.
• Support production planning and workflow.
• Lead by example on safety and quality.
• Train and mentor apprentices and team members.
• Work with supervisors and workshop teams to improve productivity and efficiency.
