Zusammenfassung

HMG Hardchrome in Pinkenba, Brisbane, seeks an experienced Fitter/Machinist with leadership experience to join the Production Department as a permanent Machine Shop Leading Hand. You will lead hands-on, coordinate daily workflow, and drive safe, efficient output on the Large Line.

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will coach staff, monitor progress, and ensure quality targets are met, while upholding site procedures and continuous improvement.

Qualifikationen

• Trade qualification as Fitter/Machinist (essential).
• Proven workshop/manufacturing experience.
• Experience as Leading Hand or supervisor.

Aufgaben

• Provide hands-on leadership to production employees.
• Coordinate daily workflow to meet targets.
• Promote safety and site procedure compliance.
• Monitor progress and quality of work.
• Assist with problem solving and escalation.
