Job summary

Aurecon is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer (I&C) to join our Mining & Resources team in Brisbane. You will lead complex electrical, instrumentation and control projects from concept through to delivery.

This senior role requires RPEQ, CPEng or RPEng accreditation, a proven track record across oil & gas, mining or water projects, and excellent communication with clients and multidisciplinary teams to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering qualification with professional accreditation.
• Accreditation: RPEQ, CPEng or RPEng.
• Extensive experience in electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
• Proven track record delivering oil & gas, mining or water projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to deliver complex electrical, instrumentation and control projects from concept to completion.
• Lead technical design packages and provide engineering advice for informed decisions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve engineering challenges and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Drive project performance through engineering excellence, optimisation and continuous improvement, mentoring engineers.
