Job summary

Journey Early Learning Ocean Grove is seeking a Permanent Educator to support planning, implementing and evaluating programs for children.

You will foster meaningful relationships with children, families and the community, guiding learning and growing your career in a warm, supportive Centre.

Qualifications

• ACECQA recognised certificate or higher required.
• Experience leading age specific programs and daily routines.
• Valid Working with Children Check is required.
• First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates completed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high health & safety standards at all times.
• Facilitate learning experiences for your group of children.
• Observe and evaluate each child’s strengths and interests.
• Design activities for the children’s developmental program.
• Collaborate with colleagues in a teaching environment.

Permanent Educator | Ocean Grove

Journey Early Learning is seeking an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced Permanent Educator to join our team in supporting the planning, implementing, and evaluating programs, for our children.

About the role

This is a Permanent part-time opportunity across 5 days, Monday to Friday.

As our new Childcare Permanent Educator, you will be responsible for the development and fostering of meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the community. You will support and guide children’s learning, while developing your own career and knowledge within the childcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
• Facilitate learning experiences for your allocated group of children
• Assisting in the observation and evaluation of children’s individual strengths, interests and preferences
• Design and implement activities to be included in children’s developmental program.
• Be part of a collaborative teaching and interactive learning environment

About you

You are a creative and inspired early childhood educator with a passion to lead and develop age specific programs and daily routines. You will be a collaborative member of the team, working to build strong relationships with Educators, children, and families.

Key skills and requirements:
