Job summary

The City of Perth is seeking a Civil Maintenance Worker to perform civil maintenance and construction tasks across roads, footpaths and drainage. You will report to the Team Leader Maintenance and support high‑quality service delivery while representing the City professionally.

You will operate plant and equipment, complete paving and kerbing, and contribute to maintaining public infrastructure. A current MR Licence and White Card are essential for this full‑time role.

Qualifications

• Experience operating plant and equipment in civil construction or maintenance.
• Practical experience in road construction, drainage, paving, concreting or kerbing works.
• MR Driver's Licence and Construction Induction (White) Card are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair works on roads, footpaths and drainage infrastructure, cycleways and retaining walls.
• Complete paving, kerbing, concreting and other civil construction activities to a high standard.
• Safely operate and maintain a range of plant, machinery, equipment and hand tools.
• Install and maintain traffic management signage and barriers while working safely and delivering excellent customer service.
