CoreStaff is assisting a local government organisation in recruiting General Hands for civil maintenance across metropolitan areas. This hands-on outdoor role involves construction, repair and maintenance of council infrastructure including drainage, footpaths, kerbing and road reserves.

You will work as part of a team on varied projects, operating small plant and hand tools, while ensuring safety and quality at all times. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in civil construction, road maintenance, drainage, concreting or local government works.
• Construction White Card is required.
• National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one.

Responsabilités

• Assist with drainage installation, maintenance and repair works.
• Concreting, kerbing, footpath and pathway repairs.
• General civil labouring and maintenance activities.
• Operation of hand and power tools.
• Site preparation, excavation and reinstatement works.
• Traffic and pedestrian management around work areas.
• Loading, unloading and transport of materials and equipment.
• Maintain a safe, clean and compliant worksite.
• Work effectively within a team to deliver community infrastructure projects.
