Cater Care is seeking a qualified Chef for Shore School in North Sydney. The role offers a stable Monday-to-Friday schedule from 11:00am to 7:30pm, totaling 40 hours per week.

The successful candidate will work in a busy education setting, preparing meals and supporting daily kitchen operations. Ideal applicants will have prior experience in a commercial or high-volume kitchen, strong food safety knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Cater Care is looking for a qualified and motivated Chef to join our team at Shore School in North Sydney. This is a great opportunity for a Chef seeking a stable Monday to Friday role, working 40 hours per week with a consistent roster of 11:00am to 7:30pm.

About the Role

Working within a busy education environment, you will be responsible for preparing and producing quality meals while supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
• High-volume and bulk food production
• Working independently and managing daily kitchen requirements
• Following recipes, menus and portion requirements
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
• Supporting the kitchen team to deliver efficient service
• Ensuring all food is prepared and handled in accordance with relevant food safety requirements

About You

We're looking for someone who is reliable, organised and passionate about food, with the ability to

work confidently in a busy kitchen environment.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a commercial or high-volume kitchen
• Experience with bulk cooking and food preparation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene
• A current Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
