Job summary

NSW Health at Westmead is seeking an Ops Assist – Others to support patient care and movement within Perioperative services in a reliable, timely and effective manner. You will help maintain cleanliness across the Operating Suite, Recovery Ward, Middleton and CSSD, and assist in the Operating Rooms under the direction of a Registered Nurse, Surgeon or Anaesthetist.

Responsibilities

• Work within a team environment to maintain the highest standard of support necessary to facilitate the care and movement of patients within the Perioperative services in a reliable, timely and effective manner.
• To ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in all areas of the Operating Suite, Recovery ward, Middleton and CSSD.
• To assist within the Operating Rooms with patient care and positioning as directed by Registered Nurse, Surgeon or Anaesthetist.
