Aegis Health is seeking a Registered Nurse - Anaesthetics to join our perioperative team in a hospital setting. The role includes Scrub and Scout/Circulating duties, maintaining aseptic technique, preparing instruments and equipment, supporting surgical procedures, and ensuring patient safety and effective theatre operations.

An inaugural team member, you will provide safe, high-quality patient care throughout surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and the theatre

Formación

• Current AHPRA Registered Nurse registration.
• Previous anaesthetic/perioperative nursing experience.
• Strong knowledge of anaesthetic procedures, patient monitoring and safety.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and clinical assessment skills.

Responsabilidades

• Scrub and scout nursing for procedures in the theatre.
• Prepare and maintain sterile field, equipment and supplies.
• Assist the proceduralist and team throughout procedures.
• Monitor patient safety, clinical status and infection prevention.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and manage equipment and stock.
• Participate in emergency response, patient transfers and post-procedure care.
