Nexus Hospitals Group is seeking a Perioperative Nurse Unit Manager to lead a team at Bundaberg Private Day Hospital. You will drive clinical excellence and patient safety, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent care as part of a growing Australian network.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Postgraduate qualifications relevant to perioperative nursing.
• Proven leadership in perioperative/day surgery.
• Commitment to education, mentoring and clinical leadership.
• Ability to build relationships with patients, doctors and staff.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Experience with quality improvement and safety programs.
• Advanced clinical and technical capability with problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality and safety improvement with the GM/DON.
• Support operational performance including rostering and procurement.
• Educate, mentor and lead the team.
• Maintain patient safety and proactive risk response.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships with VMO, patients and staff.
• Champion patient-centred care across the journey.
