Calvary Riverina is seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to lead our Perioperative Services Day Procedure Unit, working closely with the Main Theatre team and Deputy Director of Clinical Services. The role is full-time, with potential for part-time arrangements for the right candidate.

We seek an experienced nursing leader focused on service excellence, VMO engagement, team development and positive patient outcomes in a dynamic perioperative environment.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration.
• Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Proven experience in people leadership and team management.
• Sound understanding of nurse management KPIs and operational performance measures.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a broad range of stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of national perioperative practice standards and infection prevention and control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective and efficient leadership and management of a Day Procedure Unit.
• Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to ensure optimal service delivery.
• Manage KPIs and performance metrics for the unit.
• Support staffing, rostering and payroll processes; ensure high quality, safe patient care.
