Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking compassionate Enrolled Nurses to join a new 10-bed Extended Stay Unit (ESU)/23‑Hour Ward team. We offer full-time, part-time or casual roles in a state‑of‑the‑art perioperative setting with overnight care and observation.

You will deliver patient‑centred nursing care under RN supervision, participate in post‑operative care, and contribute to a positive patient experience while meeting NMBA standards and organisational policies.

Qualifications

• You must hold current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with APHRA.
• Strong communication skills and patient advocacy mindset.
• Commitment to infection control and safe practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide delegated nursing care under RN supervision.
• Conduct structured patient assessments and communicate findings.
• Implement evidence-based nursing interventions within scope of practice.
• Advocate for patients and obtain informed consent understanding.
• Follow escalation processes when needed.
• Maintain infection control, safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for perioperative care.
