Mater Hospital Springfield is expanding its 10-bed Extended Stay Unit/23-Hour Ward and seeks compassionate Enrolled Nurses for full-time, part-time or casual roles. You will deliver patient-centred nursing care, work under RN supervision, and support perioperative care in a high‑quality environment.

Qualifications

• Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with APHRA (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia).
• Ability to deliver delegated nursing care safely and effectively.
• Strong communication skills and patient advocacy.
• Infection control, safety and quality focus.
• Willingness to work across shifts including night shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform delegated nursing care under RN supervision.
• Conduct structured patient assessments and communicate findings with the RN.
• Implement and evaluate evidence-based nursing interventions.
• Advocate for patients and obtain informed consent.
• Follow escalation processes and maintain infection control.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for seamless perioperative care.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and patient experience.
