Job summary
Healthscope Hospitals is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Perioperative at Nepean Private Hospital to coordinate nursing care and lead the theatre team. The CNS will supervise, guide and drive safe practice while partnering with the perioperative management team.
Ideal applicants have 5+ years perioperative RN experience in Neuro/ENT, anaesthetics and general/gyne, and current AHPRA registration. Postgraduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards) is preferred.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Perioperative RN in Neuro/ENT, anaesthetics and general/gyne.
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards).
Responsibilities
- Support the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based, person-centred care.
- Collaborate with the perioperative management team to provide strategic leadership and oversight.
- Demonstrate professional practice in line with AHPRA standards and Healthscope policies.
- Foster a learning environment through clinical presentations to support professional development and supervision of peers, ENs, graduates and students.
