Job summary

South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is seeking a Senior Psychologist/Social Worker to lead the Perinatal Family Conferencing Program within the Child Youth & Family Services. Based at Darlinghurst, the role involves coordinating with DCJ, delivering trauma-informed assessments, and guiding a network of facilitators across SESLHD.

You will provide mentoring, lead quality improvement initiatives, and train staff while ensuring cultural safety and strong interagency collaboration

Qualifications

• Eligibility for AASW membership or a 4-year psychology degree with APHRA registration.
• Minimum 8 years post full registration experience.
• Trauma-informed experience in violence, abuse and neglect with consultation ability.
• Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Capability to provide high-level clinical advice and education to improve service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver the Perinatal Family Conferencing Program across SESLHD.
• Lead program development with DCJ partners and ensure cultural safety.
• Provide mentoring and supervision to facilitators and health workers.
• Drive quality improvement, evaluation and reporting for the PFC Program.
• Deliver training to facilitators and interagency partners; engage stakeholders.
