Job summary

Sacred Heart College Geelong is seeking an organised and enthusiastic Performing Arts Coordinator to support the planning, coordination and delivery of the college's Performing Arts programs across Music, Theatre and Dance.

Commencement is at the start of 2027 with ongoing part-time (0.6 FTE). The role coordinates day-to-day operations, rehearsals, performances and events, collaborating with staff, tutors and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Music or Performing Arts or related experience.
• Experience coordinating programs, events, schedules and resources.
• Understanding of instrumental music programs and performances.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound computer literacy and administrative skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Performing Arts programs including Instrumental Music, rehearsals, performances, productions and College events.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, instrumental music tutors and stakeholders to manage schedules, resources and logistics.
• Provide practical and administrative support to ensure smooth delivery of Performing Arts activities.
• Support performances and events, including occasional evening and weekend commitments.
