Job summary

QUT is seeking a Performance, Leadership and Capability Coordinator to support the design, delivery and evaluation of workshops and programs that build performance and empower leaders. The role reports to the Manager and aligns with career planning and performance expectations.

The position is hybrid, reflecting QUT’s move toward flexible, connected work environments and a commitment to Indigenous Australian engagement and staff development.

Qualifications

  • Degree in education, organisational psychology, human resources or a related area plus relevant experience.
  • Experience in designing, delivering and facilitating HR-related programs.
  • Strong digital literacy and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Proven written and interpersonal skills for communicating with senior and executive leaders.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively identify and solve issues.
  • Commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.

  • Design, deliver and evaluate workshops, programs and bespoke interventions.
  • Support senior consultants and manager in performance, leadership and capability initiatives.

Performance, Leadership and Capability Coordinator
  • Remuneration: $122,852 to $134,385 pa (HEW7) (inclusive of $103,811 to $113,557 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading).
  • Location: Kelvin Grove (hybrid option available)
  • Open to: Current staff members of QUT who have ongoing full-time work rights in Australia. In support of our strategic priority of Indigenous Australian success, Aboriginal Australians and Torres Strait Islander people who are not QUT staff are also eligible and encouraged to apply.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Performance, Leadership and Capability Coordinator to join Human Resources, People Services, Administrative Division.

The Performance, Leadership and Capability Coordinator supports the Senior Consultants and Manager, Performance, Leadership and Capability in the design, management, delivery and evaluation of workshops, programs and bespoke interventions which build performance, empower leaders and cultivate engagement. This position reports to the Manager, Performance, Leadership and Capability for career planning, development, and performance expectations.

What You Need To Succeed
  • Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of a degree in education, organisational psychology, human resources or a related area in conjunction with subsequent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated skills in the design, delivery and facilitation of contemporary organisational, capability development, or other HR-related programs.
  • Strong digital literacy skills with the ability to rapidly acquire working knowledge of emerging technologies.
  • Proven written and interpersonal skills for communicating effectively and influencing a wide range of stakeholders, including senior and executive leaders.
  • Demonstrated high level attention to detail and organisational skills cognisant of strategic priorities, policies and other relevant contextual factors.
  • Ability to work independently, taking responsibility for outcomes, problem solving and exercising judgement to proactively identify and circumvent issues.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.
