QUT is seeking a Student Experience Coordinator to join Faculty Operations, Faculty of Business and Law. The role designs, delivers and evaluates student experience initiatives that enhance engagement, belonging, progression and completion across the Faculty of Business and Law.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in education, student development, community engagement, or related discipline with HE experience.
• Experience designing and delivering workshops or programs to support student engagement and success.
• Ability to translate strategic priorities into practical, cohort-based programs.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills to manage multiple activities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement with academic staff, professional teams and students.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and Indigenous engagement.
• Commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.

Job description

• Remuneration: $138,193 to $156,633 pa (HEW8) (inclusive of $116,774 to $132,357 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

We are seeking a Student Experience Coordinator to join Faculty Operations, Faculty of Business and Law.

The Student Experience Coordinator designs, delivers and evaluates student experience and success initiatives that enhance future student and current student engagement, belonging, progression and completion across the Faculty of Business and Law. Working closely with the Student Experience Manager and academic leaders, the role translates Faculty strategy into practical student‑facing programs, workshops and cohort‑based interventions that support future students, student transition, capability development and academic success.

What You Need To Succeed

• Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications in education, student development, community engagement or a related discipline with subsequent relevant experience in higher education or a similar environment.
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering workshops, programs or initiatives that support student engagement, capability development or success, with strong facilitation and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategic priorities into practical programs or initiatives, including planning, coordination and delivery supported by strong organisational and project coordination skills, including the ability to manage multiple activities and stakeholders.
• Well‑developed stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with academic staff, professional teams and students.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate programs and use feedback and data to inform improvements.
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusive practice and student‑centred approaches to engagement and success.
• Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.
