Job summary

CPB Contractors Pty Limited in Sydney, NSW, AU is seeking a People Systems Manager to provide leadership over CIMIC's People & Culture frameworks, ensuring they are robust, compliant and continuously improving.

The role focuses on optimizing HRIS usage, automating processes, reviewing operations for inefficiencies, and driving governance and delivery of P&C system projects. You will partner with stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights, KPIs and scalable solutions across projects.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in P&C Operations, P&C Systems or People & Culture roles with a strong operational focus.
• Experience working with HRIS platforms, including system optimisation or implementation projects.
• Experience leading processes and workflow automation using Microsoft suite tools.
• Strong understanding of employment legislation and P&C compliance requirements.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and process orientation.

Responsibilities

• Optimise and improve the use of current HRIS and automate processes and workflows.
• Review existing P&C operations to identify inefficiencies and gaps.
• Drive P&C process improvement initiatives focused on automation and scalability.
• Review and update P&C policies and documentation to ensure compliance and consistency.
• Support P&C systems governance and project manage through delivery.
• Assist with P&C process improvements and transition planning for systems implementations.
• Develop HR KPIs, reporting metrics and bonus frameworks.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve operational effectiveness and service delivery.
• Provide expert technical advice and coaching to establish P&C systems for projects.
• Use data to inform decisions, monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Coach and influence leaders to embed continuous improvement behaviours.
