Job summary
Melton City Council seeks a highly analytical People & Safety Systems & Data Analyst to translate workforce and safety data into actionable insights for strategic decisions. You will deliver reporting, dashboards, and data management solutions that support workforce planning, compliance and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Projects Systems & Data Coordinator, you will collaborate across Council to drive a data-informed culture with accurate, timely insights and training to
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in human resource management, business, information systems, data analytics or related discipline with relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in HRIS and/or Safety system administration.
- Proven experience in workforce data analytics, reporting and dashboard development.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and deliver workforce and safety reporting, dashboards and analytics that provide meaningful insights, trend analysis and key metrics aligned with Council's strategic priorities.
- Ensure data integrity, security and compliance across systems; audit data quality and reporting standards.
- Support operation and improvement of People and Safety systems; coordinate upgrades and integrations with IT and vendors.
- Provide training and support to staff to improve data literacy and reporting capability.
